Based in Berlin, widely travelled and fluently trilingual (English, German, Spanish), I came to illustration from a fine art background. It is probably this which honed my particular enjoyment of working in analogue media, especially printmaking, acrylic, pen and ink, crayons and pencil.

The intervening years between bouts of academia were spent with multifarious counter-intuitive occupations. I started a small language and homework school, EspIA, that taught German and English in Peru and tutored children between the ages of 5 and 17 in various subjects. I also worked as a translator and then found myself headhunted by an Australian mining company to become the assistant project manager of a gold mining operation near Lima. So much for the job prospects with a B.A. in Fine Art!

As an illustrator I can tap into these positive and diverse professional and personal experiences.  They enrich my work and allow me to offer a unique vision and style.

I am a member of several professional bodies including the UK's renowned Association of Illustrators, the international Directory of Illustration and the German Illustratoren Organisation e.V. My portfolio can be found on each of their websites.

I look forward to working with you!
